Interests and Activities

Coin Collection:

I have a collection of modern, medieval and ancient coins with a particular focus on the Ilkhans (Mongols of Persia). Coin collecting not only helps me to create space to relax but allow me to communicate people from all over the world. And holding a 2500-year-old coin is priceless. In 2006, I became the youngest licensed ancient coin collector in Turkey. My collection can be seen on altaycoins.com.

Analog Photography:

Documentary photography, which helped develop my communication skills through communicating a variety of people and improve my vision of life. I prefer using analog techniques for photography because it allow me to be part of the process. I shoot, develop and print my own prints in my darkroom. As a chemist, it is an ultimate hobby.
